Holiday Inn Lynchburg

Expensive hotel for the amenities available. Took a while to get acknowledged during check in while we were the only ones waiting, but then staff member Kevin came out and was helpful and friendly. We booked a room with a king bed but were given a room with 2 fulls. Reserved 2 nights but only stayed one. Pillows were massive, we really regret not bringing our own

Loved the breakfast staff! We stayed for a week of Liberty intensives and felt safe and comfortable. The staff was helpful and beds comfortable. The breakfast was great and again the staff made mornings enjoyable. Location is downtown and you can walk to great shops and restaurants. Recommend!!!!

The staff treated us like royalty. We were beyond tired and they took care of us. I give a big thanks to the man who took are luggage up to the room and helped with parking the car in a safe place because we were having trouble with the security system. The room was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. There is an in house restaurant. I was leary because it was empty. But the food was great and so was the wine! Thank you Lynchburg Holiday Inn!

Unremarkable, older property showing it's age. But it was clean, the staff I interacted with were very pleasant and professional. Minor gripe with Burlap Joe's a coffee shop concession in the lobby. That has a sign that reads "for orders over $10, call (telephone number) and someone will come in". Really?! That's messed up! If you want to rent the space ... Then work it! This is no reflection on the hotel regarding this review but there you are. The property is large, centrally located with an attached parking garage.

This hotel has the most friendly staff , the General manager Mrs. Keisha Reeves is a professional woman she talks to you and educate you on the properties history ! The house keeping executive Ms Wendy mawyer is a real down to earth lady ! And didn't mind assisting me on getting my room cleaned ! The front desk supervisor Mrs Tiffany Jefferson is nice and I enjoyed her knowledge of the hotels history ! They have awesome houses keepers each of those lady's do a wonderful job ! Thank Lynchburg grand hotel for giving me a grand experience!

Room service is prompt and only has a 2$ delivery fee making it super affordable. They do not have a complimentary breakfast but what they do offer is still affordable and super delicious. On top of all this they are pet friendly. The only down side is the room I'm staying in doesn't have smart light placement. It's always dim even with all the lamps on.

Great hotel with a fantastic view. We requested the parking lot side and glad we did. Other reviews mentioned the excessively loud train noise, (train tracks are right behind the hotel) however the parking lot side was great with low noise levels even though a train came through one evening.

the atmosphere is really nice. I really enjoyed the personality of our bartender, the only issue that we had was the price of the drinks. I realized that it's a Holiday inn but to still pay $11 for a glass of wine seemed to be a little bit high for downtown Lynchburg when it wasn't the height of season. However, we will definitely go back.
